As an avid fan of gaming who primarily buys video games on digital platforms, I sought out to give the GameStop website a greater online presence. Though the company operates out of just over 4,000 physical stores, that didn’t mean that the brand couldn’t benefit from a more streamlined experience. Inspired by video game platforms including the PlayStation Store, I utilized design strategies that focused on prioritizing sans serif fonts and interactive elements so that players could easily navigate to the physical copies of games they love, in a digital environment that they understand.
